These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Stateline Auto Rentals website and rental services. By accessing our website or renting a vehicle from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Rental Eligibility
Renters must meet minimum age requirements, possess a valid driver’s license, provide valid payment information, and meet insurance and driving history requirements. Stateline Auto Rentals reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion.
3. Vehicle Use
Vehicles may only be used for lawful purposes by authorized drivers. Prohibited uses include illegal activity, reckless driving, towing without authorization, or subleasing.
4. Payments & Fees
Rental fees, deposits, and applicable charges are due as outlined in your rental agreement. Additional fees may apply for late returns, damage, cleaning, tolls, or violations.
5. Security Deposits
Security deposits may be required and are subject to inspection outcomes. Processing time for refunds depends on your financial institution.
6. Vehicle Condition & Responsibility
Renters are responsible for returning vehicles in the same condition received, normal wear and tear excepted, and for reporting damage or issues immediately.
7. Insurance & Liability
Renters are responsible for maintaining valid insurance coverage unless otherwise specified. Stateline Auto Rentals is not responsible for personal property left in vehicles.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stateline Auto Rentals shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
10. SMS Communications

We may send automated and non-automated text messages related to rental reservations, appointment confirmations, rental updates, service reminders, customer alerts, and marketing or promotional offers. Message content may include notifications about vehicle availability, special offers, service reminders, and information about our services.
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier’s rate plan. You are responsible for all message and data fees charged by your carrier.
Opt-Out Instructions
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you may receive a one-time confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
